Patrick O'Connor

Professor of Anatomy and Neuroscience, Ohio University

His research interests combine laboratory- and museum-based comparative and developmental anatomy with field paleontology to address a variety of topics in vertebrate evolutionary morphology. His main laboratory and museum efforts to date have primarily focused on phylogenetic and functional analyses within the archosaurian groups that include both avian and nonavian dinosaurs, pterosaurs, and crocodyliforms. His major field efforts to date have mostly focused on Cretaceous terrestrial/freshwater faunas from former Gondwanan landmasses such as Afro–Madagascar and Antarctica.
