Dr. Shorouq Al-Ashqar received the Best Article Award from the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology at the conference in Birmingham, UK.

Dr. Sanaa El-Sayed was awarded the prestigious Rackham Graduate Student Research Grant by the University of Michigan, USA.

Dr. Shorouq Al-Ashqar took part in the Egyptian Women in Science and Technology Forum, held at the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics.
Honoring Dr. Shorouq Al-Ashqar, discoverer of Bastetodon, on the sidelines of the 3rd International Conference on Archaeology and Bioheritage at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA).

Dr. Sanaa El-Sayed participated in the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB), presenting research on aspects of vertebrate evolution, held in Atlanta, USA.

Dr. Sanaa El-Sayed attended the Paleontological Society Conference in Erlangen, Germany.

Dr. Sanaa El-Sayed was honored with the prestigious Goldring Award from the Society for Sedimentary Geology (SEPM), presented by the International Paleontological Society, during the Annual Meeting of the Geological Society of America in California, USA.

Dr. Shorouq Al-Ashqar was honored by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and First Lady Entissar Amer as one of Egypt’s distinguished national figures during the Egyptian Women's Celebration 2023, in recognition of her exceptional scientific excellence and her significant contributions to the advancement of the nation.

Dr. Sanaa El-Sayed presented aspects of her PhD research at the graduate student conference “The Cool Things We Do at Michigan,” held at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, USA.

Dr. Sanaa El-Sayed was honored with the prestigious American Association of University Women (AAUW) Award in 2023, recognizing her outstanding achievements and pioneering research in vertebrate paleontology as an international PhD student in the USA.

Dr. Sanaa El-Sayed delivered a presentation on the vision and development of the Mansoura University Vertebrate Paleontology Center (MUVP), highlighting its major scientific achievements and community service initiatives over the past five years, at the 2024 North American Paleontological Convention 2024 (NAPC), USA.

Dr. Sanaa El-Sayed presented preliminary findings from her new research at the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology (SVP), the leading international conference in vertebrate paleontology, held in Cincinnati, USA.

Dr. Sanaa El-Sayed delivered a presentation on the results of a Sallam Lab research project at a scientific conference in Chicago, USA.
