Dr. Shorouq Al-Ashqar from the Mansoura University Vertebrate Paleontology Center (Sallam Lab) was invited by the National Research Centre to gave a lecture on communication between scientists and society, as part of its symposium: “From Deciphering the Rosetta Stone to the Bones of the Pyramid Builders: A Journey in Science and Unveiling the Secrets of Egyptian Civilization.”

Dr. Hesham Sallam, founder of the Mansoura University Vertebrate Paleontology Center, took part in the 4th International Conference on Advanced Materials and Their Applications at the National Research Center.

As part of the summer training program, Dr. Abdullah Gohar delivered lectures on the basics of vertebrate paleontology.

“Dr. Abdullah Gohar gave a lecture at one of the churches in Oklahoma to members of the Rock and Mineral Society and enthusiasts of the field, where he spoke about the activities of Sallam Lab in Egypt and its research on whale evolution.”

“The annual meeting of the supervisory committee for the PhD thesis of Sallam Lab senior member Dr. Sanaa El-Sayed was held, where the committee once again praised the quality and quantity of the work accomplished. It is worth noting that Dr. Sanaa is pursuing her PhD at the University of Michigan with funding from the Egyptian Missions Program, and she has already co-authored 13 international research papers — even before completing her PhD!
