The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) of the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has authorized the nomination of Professor Hesham Sallam as a member of the Egyptian National Geosciences Committee in its decision released on 27/02/2020 on the basis of his outstanding scientific achievements in the field of geology. It should be mentioned that the Egyptian National Geosciences Committee is one of the national committees of the international scientific federations. The committee is committed to providing scientific visions and consultations in the field of earth sciences to decision-makers in order to contribute to sustainable development in Egypt.
