A new species of ancient crocodile, which lived in Egypt around 80 million years ago in the Western Desert, has been discovered. It was named Wadisuchus kassabi (“Valley Crocodile”), with Dr. Sart Saber as the first author of the study.

 The details of this global discovery were published in The Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, one of the most prestigious international scientific journals specializing in evolutionary biology.
